Just when you think the annual Freestyle Event for the benefit of the Bear Spot Foundation can't get any better, it does! With the audience in control of who took home the top prizes, participation came in the form of not only voting on electronic keypads, but also by way of clapping, hooting and whistling for favorites.

In an early morning interview for Dressage News Network, Dottie Morkis mentioned that she would be riding "by the seat of my pants" at Freestyle this year. Mr. Big had recently returned home after six months in Europe under another rider. "I am really going to need help from the audience!" and help they gave her as Dottie rode part of her test with a wine glass in her hand!
